Project Story

  • Many communities face gaps in access to resources, skills, and emotional support. At the same time, young people often want to contribute but lack structured ways to create meaningful, lasting impact.

Acts of kindness and support often remain one-time efforts, without a system that allows them to grow or sustain themselves over time.

  • Chain of Kindness: Trio Impact Initiative is a youth-led program built around a simple idea, that impact should not stop with one person.

Participants are divided into three teams, each focusing on a different track while working together to create a continuous “pay it forward” chain:

    • Community Exchange Track: A no-money system where people share items like books, clothes, and tools, taking what they need and giving what they can.

    • Teach One → Teach Three Track: Participants teach a skill to one person, who then teaches three others, creating a growing chain of knowledge and opportunity.

    • Emotional Support Track: Anonymous messages of kindness and small positive actions are passed from person to person, spreading encouragement and connection.

Teams meet weekly to share progress, reflect on their impact, and document their journey through short videos and reels, helping inspire others to join the movement.

  • Real change grows when people receive support & pass it on.

By combining resource sharing, education, and emotional connection, this initiative builds stronger, more connected communities. It empowers young people to take action while creating a system where impact multiplies naturally over time.

Chain of Kindness turns individual acts into a movement, where every person becomes both a beneficiary and a contributor, and where kindness grows and expands.

Project Updates

April 20th Update

Since its launch, the Chain of Kindness: Trio Impact Initiative has successfully activated its three core impact tracks, reaching a growing number of participants within the university community and beyond.

As part of our implementation, we established a dedicated on-campus office by transforming an unused office into a vibrant space that reflects the spirit of youth leadership and community engagement. This space now serves as our daily operations center for planning and team collaboration.

To strengthen visibility and engagement, we developed a unified visual identity, launched our official Instagram page to document and share our journey: https://www.instagram.com/trioeffect.ps/

and created a web site to showcase our initiative and expand outreach: https://zaap.bio/Chain-Of-Kindness

Our team was structured into three main tracks, with each participant forming a support circle of three additional individuals to ensure the expansion of the Pay It Forward model:

1) Community Exchange Track

2) Teach One → Teach Three Track

3) Emotional Support Track

In the Community Exchange Track, we established a “give and take” exchange model through a shared box containing donated items. We collected over 27 items from 9 initial contributor based on a “take one, give 3 forward” principle. The exchange included books, school supplies, electronics, and daily-use items. This activity has already engaged more than 27 participants and initiated a growing ripple effect within the community.

This was documented through a video posted on Instagram.

In the "Teach One → Teach Three" pathway, we completed our first round of peer-to-peer training sessions, which focused on practical skills such as using artificial intelligence in education. Participants were incentivized to train their peers through an automated certified trainer model for each person who passed on a skill to three others, and all contributions were digitally documented. To date, we have reached 27 beneficiaries, all of whom committed to passing on their knowledge to at least three other people, ensuring the continued expansion of the impact.

In parallel, we launched the Emotional Support Track, a kindness-based initiative focused on anonymous positive messages that encourage simple acts of kindness. Participants engaged in activities such as distributing flowers, offering refreshments, handing out water and chocolates, feeding stray cats, and supporting others through simple gestures. This track has directly impacted over 40 individuals and continues to have a tangible positive effect on the community.

All activities have been carefully documented through photos, videos, and digital content to strengthen our online presence, inspire broader community engagement, and support the voting process. Additional visual content is being prepared and will be shared to further highlight the impact and storytelling of our initiative.

April 24th Update

Teach One → Teach Three Track Updates

Since our last update, the Chain of Kindness: Triple Impact Initiative has entered a significant growth phase, with all three tracks—Education, Giving, and Emotional Support—fully activated and expanding rapidly.

Focusing on the Teach One → Teach Three Track, the initiative has achieved remarkable progress in scaling its impact. To date, more than 60 training or learning sessions have been successfully conducted there trainers cirtificates, engaging over 180 trainees and reaching 240 new beneficiariesin total . This reflects the strong adoption of the peer-to-peer learning model within and beyond the university community.

Proof that the training process is ongoing is provided through this link for both trainers and trainees. All those who have received certificates via the following link, which is updated periodically, can see this information.

Notably, this track has now expanded beyond the university, reaching participants in multiple countries and forming a growing cross-border knowledge-sharing network. reinforcing the Pay It Forward approach and accelerating the ripple effect.

This growth has been significantly driven by the initiative’s promotional video shared on our Instagram page, which motivated participants to engage, train others, and contribute to the expanding chain of impact.

In parallel, the team has intensified efforts in impact documentation, storytelling, and digital outreach, using photos, videos, and social media content to capture real stories and inspire wider community participation.

To support motivation and recognition, an automated certification system has been implemented. Each participant who successfully trains others receives an officially issued certificate. A sample of these certificates is attached below.

April 26th Update

Emotional Support Track Updates

The Emotional Support Track continues to serve as a core pillar of the Chain of Kindness: trio Impact Initiative, focusing on spreading positivity through simple, meaningful, and anonymous acts of kindness.

This track is built on the idea that even the smallest gesture—when passed forward—can create a powerful ripple effect within the community. Participants actively engaged in a variety of impactful activities, including distributing cups of water, sharing chocolates, offering flowers, feeding stray cats, and performing small yet meaningful acts that bring joy to others.

These actions were not only spontaneous but also intentionally designed to encourage recipients to continue the chain by passing on similar acts of kindness. As a result, the initiative has directly impacted over 60 individuals, with many more indirectly influenced through ongoing kindness chains.

What makes this track particularly unique is its organic growth. Acts of kindness are being replicated beyond the initial participants, creating anonymous chains of positivity that foster empathy, human connection, and emotional well-being across campus.

In parallel, the team has placed strong emphasis on visual storytelling and documentation. Many of these moments—such as offering water on a warm day, surprising someone with a chocolate, or feeding street cats—have been captured and will be featured in a series of engaging short videos (Reels).

May 2nd Update

Community Exchange Track Updates

Since our initial launch, the Community Exchange Track has continued to evolve as a practical model of the Pay It Forward concept, promoting resource sharing and community solidarity.

Building on our first phase, we established a “give and take” exchange model through a shared box. In Level 1, the exchange box was completely filled with donated items collected from participants, reflecting strong engagement and trust in the initiative.

As the initiative expanded, we moved to Level 2, where we introduced a larger collection method using a dedicated bag. This phase also achieved full capacity, demonstrating a growing willingness among participants to contribute and pass forward resources.

Currently, we are preparing an exciting Level 3 expansion, which aims to significantly scale the impact of the track. Our goal is to collect up to 150 reusable items, including books, school supplies, electronics, and essential goods.

These items will not only be circulated within the community but are also planned to be repurposed through a community bazaar, where proceeds will support students in need, underprivileged individuals, or local charitable organizations.

To date, the initiative has engaged a growing number of participants beyond the initial contributors, with a visible ripple effect as individuals continue to encourage others to donate, exchange, and contribute.

The entire journey has been actively documented through visual content, including videos shared on Instagram, which have played a key role in increasing awareness, participation, and community engagement.

May 5th Update

🔷 Teach One → Teach Three Track Updates

The Teach One → Teach Three Track has emerged as one of the most impactful and scalable components of the Chain of Kindness: Triple Impact Initiative, demonstrating exceptional growth and sustainability.

Since the last update, this track alone has achieved remarkable results, with the issuance of 190+ certified trainer certificates to participants from across the West Bank, including trainers, teachers, entrepreneurs, and university students from various institutions. This reflects a strong and widespread adoption of the peer-to-peer learning model.

The track continues to expand organically, driven by participants who actively transfer knowledge within their own communities, reinforcing the Pay It Forward principle and significantly accelerating the ripple effect.

One of the key strengths of this track is its automated and self-sustaining system. The certification process is fully digital, allowing participants to submit their training outcomes and instantly receive officially issued certificates. This system ensures that the initiative will continue operating beyond the duration of the competition, without the need for direct intervention from the core team.

Importantly, the Chain of Kindness Certified Trainer certificates will continue to be issued even after the competition ends, enabling ongoing impact, continuous knowledge sharing, and long-term community engagement.

Proof of the ongoing training activity is available through the continuously updated database, where all certified trainers and participants are documented:

🔷 Emotional Support Track Updates

Since our last update, the Emotional Support Track of the Chain of Kindness: Triple Impact Initiative has experienced significant growth, transforming from a local campus-based activity into an expanding international kindness movement.

This track, which is built around spreading positivity through anonymous acts of kindness, emotional support, appreciation, and human connection, has now extended beyond Palestine and inspired participation in multiple countries including Jordan, Indonesia, Turkiye, Tunisia, and Norway. Participants from these countries independently implemented the initiative within their own communities, documented their activities through videos, and officially shared their contributions with our team—demonstrating the global adaptability and emotional resonance of the model.

Within Palestine, the initiative also expanded organically across several cities, moving beyond Hebron to reach Bethlehem, Ramallah, Nablus, Jerusalem, and Acre, creating a growing network of community-driven kindness activities.

The track included a variety of impactful actions focused on appreciation, empathy, and emotional well-being. One of our activities was a special appreciation visit to the Board of Trustees of Palestine Polytechnic University and the University Graduates Association, honoring individuals who dedicated more than 45 years of voluntary service to the institution and the community. Through flowers and personalized gratitude messages, participants expressed appreciation for their lifelong contributions and inspiring legacy of giving.
